Trend conference: Fashion Trends Autumn/Winter 2017/2018
On September 21st 2016, at Condénast Center of Fashion & Design, Agnes KUBIAK, creative director of Style-Vision Asia presented the key inspirations of the upcoming Fall Winter 2017/2018 season for women’s wear, men’s wear and accessories.
The trends were organized by fashion themes to address different consumer targets and brand positioning in China and provide style directions for 60 fashion professionals from different horizons: designer brands, retailers or manufacturers suppliers.

TREND 1: GENEROUS NATURE
The trend targets the premium market with rich material and opulent decorative elements inspired by nature. Purple is an important color.
Key words: brushed flannels, long line, short haired fur, soft hand, purple shade.
TREND 2: I LOVE PARIS
The trend rejuvenates the classic working outfit with feminine bomber jacket, urban mélange yarns and creative herringbone patterns in fancy grey harmonies.
Key words: giant 80’s patterns, shiny details, rock and roll accessories.
TREND 3: STREET STYLE
The trend meets the spirit of the younger generation with impacting colors, over-sized sweatshirts, casual yet versatile denim and highly protective outwear.
Key words: layers, graffiti, over-sized functional detail, light pink.
TREND 4: VOLUMES
The trend targets the trendy class with new materials, disruptive shapes and surprising details.
Key words: egg shape, sophisticated gathering, lightweight fabrics, shiny and oily surfaces.
